Say: Have you ever seen a firefly or lightning bug at night? Lightning bugs are actually flying beatles that have a body part that makes it’s bottom glow! They glow to talk to other insects and tell their enemies to stay away! 

Create: Use the black construction paper provided and a pencil to make smal holes in the paper. Hold up the paper to the light and the small holes will look like lightning bugs in the night sky.
